Mark Hodgson

Mark Hodgson is an experienced and accomplished business leader with a distinguished career history spanning several successful organizations. He currently serves as the Chief Business Officer and Executive Committee member at Cervest, where he is responsible for driving the commercial strategy, business model, usership, and revenues. A seasoned investor, Mark has backed several AI scaleups and has been at the forefront of strategic field roles at Google, Microsoft, and other notable companies. A graduate of the University of Leicester, Mark has studied for an MSc at the University of Aberdeen.

Mark is passionate about using technology to help companies understand and mitigate climate risk. His work at Cervest aligns with this passion, as he leads the development of the company's climate intelligence platform, EarthScan. Mark is a company spokesperson to media, industry, government, and the investor community. He is also a fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) and an adviser and coach for TechNation.

Throughout his career, Mark has worked with thousands of customers, partners, and co-workers, building, running, and participating in high-performing sales and marketing operations and teams. He has a knack for taking emerging technologies to market and driving customer success across a broad range of sectors.
