Mark Gertzof

Mark Gertzof is the Managing Director, Head of Originations and a member of the Investment Committee of TCW Private Credit at The TCW Group.123456 He has over 34 years of industry experience.12

Prior to joining TCW in 2013, Gertzof was the Managing Partner of a middle market investment banking and credit advisory firm, Monroe Credit Advisors, which he co-founded in 2009. Before that, he was a Managing Director and team leader for Merrill Lynch Capital's Corporate Finance leverage lending group where he spent six years. Gertzof started his career at Bank of Boston in 1989 and spent 13 years at BankBoston/Fleet Capital in various positions primarily focused on asset-based lending.1

In his current role at TCW, Gertzof is responsible for new business origination, diligence review, structuring and execution. He also serves on TCW's Investment Committee for Private Credit.14

Gertzof holds a BS with high distinction in Finance and Investments from Babson College. He has previously served on the boards of the Turnaround Management Association of Chicago and HFS Chicago Scholars.1
