As the former president of Star Oilco, a full-service oil company in the Portland metro area, Mark led a team dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to customers.

Mark holds a J.D. in Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, utilizing his legal expertise to navigate regulatory and contractual aspects of the oil business. He is passionate about alternative and renewable energy sources, actively promoting biofuels for decarbonization goals.

Overseeing strategic direction, financial performance, and operational excellence at Star Oilco, Mark expanded the customer base, secured contracts, and improved efficiency, safety, and environmental standards.

Mark spearheaded a pilot program supplying biodiesel to transportation companies and municipalities, achieving cost savings, emission reductions, and customer satisfaction. His expertise in new business development and sustainable energy has positioned Star Oilco as an industry leader.
