Mark Fischer is a Co-Founder at Benepass, a company reimagining how businesses manage employee benefits globally. Benepass provides a modern financial infrastructure for compensation distribution, catering to HR teams globally. The fintech platform serves companies in over 35 countries with instant, flexible, and data-driven solutions.
Mark Fischer has an impressive academic background, having been a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship and the Marshall Scholarship to study mobile robotics at Oxford. He started his career as the second hardware engineer at Industrial Perception, Inc. before moving on to become a Tech Lead / Manager on a robotics project at Google X.
His educational journey includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and won the Ovid W. Eshbach Award as the top engineering student. He also led a senior project on high altitude photovoltaics that received the Research and Innovation Award. During his undergraduate years, Mark founded several start-up projects, one of which was a Y-Combinator finalist. Years later, he co-founded Benepass, another YC company.
Outside of work, Mark Fischer is an avid runner, alpine skier, climber, and traveler. He enjoys reading, playing the piano, working on his race car from high school, and spending time outdoors.
