Mark Drooks

Mark Drooks is a seasoned civil litigator, trial, and arbitration attorney with a focus on complex civil litigation.

He has served as lead counsel in over 50 civil trials and arbitrations, with experience in arguing appeals in state and federal courts, including the California Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mark's expertise lies in breach of contract, business tort cases, malpractice claims involving lawyers and professionals, partnership break-ups, securities and consumer protection class actions.

He has a strong background in securities-related matters, representing broker-dealers, investment advisers, and investors in individual and class actions, as well as handling more than 200 customer dispute arbitrations.

Throughout his career, Mark has represented numerous national law firms in various litigation matters, including attorney malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, employment disputes, ethical violations, and partner departure issues.

His notable recognitions include being named one of Los Angeles Business Journal's Top Litigators & Trial Lawyers, an Elite Boutique Trailblazer by the National Law Journal, and being ranked by Chambers and Partners in Commercial Litigation since 2019.

Mark Drooks holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Cornell University. He currently serves as a Principal at Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks, Lincenberg & Rhow, P.C.
