Mark Cutifani

Mark Cutifani, a distinguished professional in the mining industry, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Anglo American Plc since April 3, 2013.

With a BEng in Mining and as a Fellow of the AusIMM, Mr. Cutifani holds a rich experience in gold mining, dating back to 1976.

Previously, he played pivotal roles like the Chief Executive Officer of AngloGold Ashanti Ltd., Chief Operating Officer of Vale Canada Limited, Managing Director at Sons of Gwalia Ltd., and more.

In addition to his current role at Anglo American Plc, Mr. Cutifani also serves as the Chairman of De Beers Société Anonyme and as a Non-Executive Director at Anglo American Platinum Limited.

His educational background includes studying Mining Engineering at the University of Wollongong, further solidifying his expertise in the mining sector.
