    It used to be people laughed at streaming. First it was only low quality audio. The. When video came along it was the size of a postage stamp. Then there wasn’t enough bandwidth to scale.

    To everyone who made money from media , it sucked and was going no where

    When I started the first all HDTV networks,@HDNET , @hdnetmovies in 2001, people laughed. The TVs cost 20k. I sat in meetings with FOX, CBS, NBC and cable companies who all pulled out big analog tvs and said HDTV would never work at scale because people couldn’t see the difference

    All laughable today. And those 20k TVs cost $200 or less.
