Responsible for delivering a total FM vision to major UK energy provider through the Mitie Integrated Facilities Management model, ensuring workplace strategy and FM delivery are aligned with client workplace objectives.   Being the trusted advisor for the client Real Estate and Workplace whilst ensuring delivery of first class FM for the client.

Key Achievements:

-  Working in collaboration with the client RE&W team – Operations, Sustainability, Workplace Development and Procurement, to help define and drive strategic workplace objectives
-  Proactively supporting the client business recovery plan.
-  Leading a team of Facilities Managers, Asset Managers and support functions to deliver a first class FM service.

And in common with many other FM professionals, fulfilled the role of master problem solver for the client.

Workplace Strategy Manager

Head of the Asset Management function for one of Mitie's key accounts.

- Leading and managing the activities of the Contracts Management team and Regional Asset Managers.
- Nominated technical authority for the contract working closely with the Compliance, Health & Safety Manager to ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner.
- Accountable for ensuring building services systems and equipment are operated and maintained in a manner compliant with current legislation, regulation and best practice.  Also for development and maintenance of forward maintenance registers and asset management plans.
- Authorising Engineer for Mitie activities on the contract, authorising others to issue permits to work.
- Work with other members of the senior management team to ensure delivery of Technical Services contributes to achievement of contract KPI’s and excellent service delivery
- Acts as conduit between the Account Director and the Technical Services team, reviewing and passing on information from the AD as appropriate to ensure staff are adequately briefed, also keeping the AD up to date with activities within the Technical Services Dept.’
