Mark Chalkley is a highly skilled and strategic manager with extensive experience in the Chemical Industry, service sector, and Water Industry. With a strong focus on commercial, process, environmental, and quality performance issues, he has developed a demonstrable track record of delivering projects on time. He possesses excellent problem-solving, leadership, and coaching skills with a strategic focus across a wide range of disciplines. Mark has designed and developed rigorous management systems to achieve process optimization, including Process/Environmental/Quality Management systems (PMS/EMS/QMS), and he can bring about fundamental and timely changes to business systems in response to changing commercial and regulatory circumstances.
Mark Chalkley completed A levels in Sciences, Maths, English at Normanton Grammar School before studying GRSC 2.1, Chemistry at Leeds Beckett University. He also obtained an Msc in Environmental Management and Technology from The University of Manchester. His work experience includes serving as Operations Manager at SUEZ, Water Supply Manager (Operations), Regional Water Supply Manager, and Water Utility Manager at Kelda Water Services. Mark also served as Managing Director at EHS Projects Ltd, Lead Environmental Business Advisor at Business Link, Chemical Manufacturing Manager at Agfa, and Technical Support Group Leader at E.I.DuPont De Nemours.
