Mark Castruita, a public speaker and video producer, has overcome adversity to achieve a successful career in engineering and now uses his voice to inspire underrepresented youth to pursue careers in STEAM. Growing up in a poverty-stricken community, Castruita defied the odds by obtaining a BS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, leading him to a 20+ year career in the semiconductor industry. He has worked for tech innovators such as Broadcom Limited, NetLogic Microsystems, and Raza Microelectronics, serving as a Senior Principal Design Engineer, Physical Design Engineer, and Applications Engineer.
Castruita's passion for storytelling and empowering young people led him to produce videos spotlighting diverse voices that motivate, encourage, and demonstrate the ability to succeed. He has also created edgy docuseries and heroic tales of transformation to inspire and motivate youth. Castruita's journey and experiences make him an exceptional role model for young people who want to pursue STEAM careers.
