Mark V. Carney is a seasoned professional with forty years of experience in environmental support within the power generation industry. Currently serving as the managing director at e3rm, llc, an environmental consulting firm specializing in environmental permitting/management and sustainability systems for power generation projects. Mark has an extensive background in permitting various energy projects including solar, coal, natural gas, and waste fuels across multiple states. His expertise extends to due diligence processes for power generation asset transactions, as well as management systems review and implementation encompassing gap analysis, aspect/impact evaluation, and management system design.

Mark's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Kansas Newman College and a Master of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University.

Throughout his career, Mark Carney has held key positions in several renowned organizations. Apart from his current role at e3rm, llc, he has served as Chair of the Planning Commission at the Town of Middletown and held managerial positions at prestigious companies like AMEC, US Generating / PG&E NEG / NEGT, RUST INTERNATIONAL, TRC, and Burns & McDonnell.
