Mark H. Bloom

Mark H. Bloom is the Global Chief Information Officer at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., one of the world's largest insurance brokerages and risk management firms with over 40,000 employees in more than 65 countries.134 He joined Gallagher in 2022 and is responsible for leading the company's global information technology and security efforts.12

Mr. Bloom has over 30 years of business and technology experience.12 He currently serves as a non-executive board member of Freddie Mac.13 Prior to joining Gallagher, he was the Global Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Management Board of Aegon N.V., a multinational life insurance, pensions, and asset management company.12 He has also held various leadership positions at Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, and CACI International.12

Mr. Bloom holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Bucknell University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an MBA in International Business from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.123
