Mark Bakker

Mark Bakker is an experienced application and infra architect with over 20 years of expertise in the field.

He founded StackState in early 2015, a scale-up focusing on delivering top-notch Kubernetes Observability and Assisted troubleshooting service.

Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology, specialized in Software Engineering, from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Throughout his career, Mark has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as ING Nederland, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Xebia, TomTom, and Telegraaf Media ICT.

He also has entrepreneurial experience, having run his own company in computers and networks for 8 years before joining Xebia in 2007.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Mark has been actively involved in different positions such as Founder, Chairman, and Secretary at various organizations like StackState and VVO De Riethof West.
