Mark Bailey is a seasoned Silicon Valley veteran with over 40 years of experience in the technology industry. He has played various roles as an investor, executive, and entrepreneur, and has been a significant figure in advancing AI and cybersecurity technologies.

Mark co-founded and served as the CEO of B5 Capital, a family office and venture firm that specializes in early-stage investments in AI and cybersecurity. Prior to this, he was a Co-founder and Partner at DFJ Growth, a firm with over $2 billion in committed capital known for its technology growth investments.

During his career, Mark was instrumental in the growth of Symantec Corporation, where he led pioneering M&A efforts that propelled the company to Fortune 500 status and played a key role in shaping the cybersecurity industry. He also held executive positions at Healtheon/WebMD, contributing to their strategic development.

Mark's journey in the tech industry began at Hewlett Packard, a renowned Silicon Valley startup, before moving on to work with prominent firms like Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He is an alumnus of Princeton University, where he earned a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with honors, as well as Harvard Business School, where he obtained his MBA.
