    Mark Amin is an Iranian American film producer, writer, and distributor with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry.

    Amin co-founded 20/20 Video, the largest video specialty chain in Los Angeles, and later established Vidmark Entertainment, a pioneer in home video entertainment.

    In 1987, he co-founded Trimark Holdings, where he served as CEO and Chairman, overseeing major releases like Eve's Bayou and Leprechaun.

    Following Trimark's merger with Lions Gate Entertainment in 2000, Amin became the largest shareholder and Vice Chairman of Lionsgate, contributing to successes like Monster's Ball and Crash.

    In 2001, he founded Sobini Films, his current production company, responsible for films like The Prince and Me, Peaceful Warrior, and Streets of Legend.

    Amin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
