Mark Allan Yabut is a dedicated individual with a strong passion for business and education. His philosophy centers around blending the entrepreneurial mindset of a business leader with the nurturing qualities of an educator to drive transformative leadership.
Mark has an extensive educational background, including a Teaching Credential in Mathematics with a remarkable 3.93 GPA from Loyola Marymount University, a Master of Science in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts in Urban Education - Policy and Administration with a perfect 4.0 GPA from Loyola Marymount University.
His academic journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing Emphasis and a Minor in Technology, Arts, & Media with Honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He further expanded his knowledge in International Business at Yonsei University and holds a Diploma with Honors from the California Scholarship Federation at Sweetwater Union High School.
Professionally, Mark's experience is diverse and impactful. He is the Founder of Free Malaya and has previously served as an Instructional Coach at CollegeSpring, Testing Coordinator at Bert Corona Charter High School, and Founder & Coach of the Speech and Debate Program at the same institution. Additionally, he has held roles such as Instructional Leader & Teacher at Bert Corona Charter High School, Corps Member at Teach For America, and Strategy Intern at BBDO San Francisco.
Mark's professional journey also includes valuable contributions as a Research Assistant to Dr. David R. Hekman at the University of Colorado, as a Student Intern in the Leeds Undergraduate Program at the University of Colorado Boulder, and as the Founder and Writer of KramSesh. He has also been a Tutor, Teaching Assistant, Peer Mentor, and Community Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, showcasing his commitment to education and mentorship.
