Mark Aitken, II

Mark Aitken, II is an accomplished legislative advocate and public affairs professional with extensive experience on Capitol Hill and in the private sector. He has studied Government & Public Policy at the University of Baltimore and Political Science at Duquesne University. He also holds a High School/Secondary Diploma from Westfield High School.

Throughout his career, Mark has held numerous positions in various organizations. He currently serves as the Director of U.S. Legislative Affairs at DJI, where he manages the organization's legislative policies and advocacy initiatives. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Director of Government Relations at AUVSI, where he was responsible for public policy initiatives and government relations efforts.

Mark has also worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Director for Congressman Frank A. LoBiondo and Senior Legislative Assistant for Congressman Roscoe G. Bartlett. Additionally, he has held various other positions in the private sector, including Manager of Communications & Public Affairs at Finmeccanica North America and Director of US Operations at Ansaldo Fuel Cells.

Mark's diverse experience in government affairs, public policy, and communication has allowed him to build a broad range of skills. He is an expert in legislative advocacy and government relations and is also highly skilled in public affairs, strategic communication, and policy analysis. He is passionate about supporting organizations in their public policy initiatives and government relations efforts.
