Marisa Warren is a tech industry veteran with over 26 years of experience as a VC investor, board member, and operator at renowned companies like SAP, Microsoft, and Workday.

As the Founder and Managing Partner of ALIAVIA Ventures and Founder of ELEVACAO, Marisa focuses on investing in female-founded tech startups across the U.S. and Australia, with notable investments in companies like GoFigr, Vurbl, HowToo, Wakefully, Eugene, Othelia, Loupe, and Neighbourlytics.

Marisa started her career in enterprise software sales and later played a pivotal role in establishing and growing business units, such as the Microsoft Partner Development Centre for Australia and Southeast Asia and the SAP Partner Sales Academy in the Southern Region, which received recognition and awards for innovation and business growth.

In 2015, Marisa transitioned from working in large corporations to pursuing her passion for early-stage businesses, leading to the founding of ELEVACAO, a global pre-accelerator for women tech founders, which to date has empowered 175 women across the U.S. and Australia, resulting in over $120 million raised and 3 successful exits.

Additionally, in 2020, Marisa co-founded ALIAVIA Ventures, a venture capital firm based in California that focuses on investing in early-stage female founders creating groundbreaking technology companies in the United States and Australia.

Marisa is a sought-after speaker in the tech industry and has participated in various events as an MC, keynote speaker, judge, or moderator at prestigious gatherings like SXSW, TechCrunch Disrupt, Startup Grind, and industry conferences hosted by Microsoft, SAP, Macquarie Bank, and more.

Marisa's educational background includes studying at Canberra Girls Grammar School.
