Mario Kay

Mário Suakay, a registered architect with the UK Architects' Registration Board, is a distinguished member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Order of Portuguese Architects.

In 1984, he established Sua Kay Architects in Lisbon, overseeing the design work for over three decades. His firm has produced numerous award-winning projects like bank headquarters, office complexes, malls, residential buildings, industrial facilities, sports venues, and health clubs across Portugal, Europe, South America, and Africa.

Suakay's rich educational background and professional exposure in the UK and Europe have greatly influenced his design philosophy, emphasizing pragmatism, simplicity, and superior built quality.

His architectural creations have earned both national and international accolades. He also served as a visiting professor at the prestigious Instituto Superior Técnico from 2000 to 2006, imparting his knowledge to future architects.
