Marie Smedsrød is an experienced senior kommunikasjonsrådgiver (senior communication advisor) currently working at Utdanningsdirektoratet. With a degree in Journalism Mass Communications and Advertising from the University of Oklahoma, she has a strong background in web, social media, editorial content, and development. Marie's career has taken her to various organizations, including the Senter for IKT i Utdanningen, Avikom AS, and Apeland Informasjon. She has also held multiple board positions, including Nedre Elvebakken Velforening and IT Forum Nord-Norge. In addition to her professional work, Marie has experience as a project coordinator for the Tromsø International Film Festival and interned at Ackerman McQueen.
