Marica Lowe

I help high achieving black women take a breath so that they can release the weight of the world and lean into a life of radical self love, freedom, and abundance!

Marica Lowe is a professional with a background in finance and accounting, who has founded The Purple Kitty NY LLC, a space dedicated to promoting the well-being of Black and Brown women and kin.

Marica Lowe completed her Bachelor's in Accounting at Adelphi University, which equipped her with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the financial industry.

Prior to establishing The Purple Kitty, Marica held key positions at Tough Mudder Inc, including VP of Finance, Controller, Accounts Payable Manager, and Events Accountant, showcasing her expertise in financial management.

She also has experience working at The Siegfried Group as a Special Project Employee, and at SCOR and PwC in roles related to accounting and auditing.

Marica's journey as a finance professional has driven her to create a supportive community at The Purple Kitty, emphasizing the importance of mental, physical, and financial health for individuals who identify with being the only Black woman in corporate spaces.
