Marianne Kah

Marianne Kah is a renowned global expert in the economics and markets for oil, natural gas, and power, well known for her ability to assess risks accurately in these markets and communicate such assessments to corporate boards, Congress, and external entities clearly and effectively. Her extensive experience working with corporate boards of directors has made her an accomplished chair and member of several energy industry boards. She has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Cornell University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Finance from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Kah also studied Leading Scenario Projects and Scenarios and Strategy at the Global Business Network and attended the National Association of Corporate Directors' Director Professionalism course.

Kah has served as Director at the Houston Grand Opera and Houston Grand Opera Endowment Board, and formerly as an Independent Director and Member of Audit and Technology Committees at ATI and PETROLEUM GEO-SERVICES. She was also an Adjunct Senior Research Scholar and Advisory Board Member at Columbia University Center on Global Energy Policy, Chief Economist at ConocoPhillips, Manager of Corporate Planning at Cabot Corporation, Coordinator of Strategic Planning at Conoco, Inc., Senior Analyst of Policy Development Group at U.S. Synthetic Fuels Corp., Policy Analyst of Energy and Minerals Division at U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO), and a Management Analyst at U.S. GAO.
