Mariana Rich
Junior Architect / Urban Planner
Mariana Rich is a talented architect turned urban planner and designer with a passion for community development, urban revitalization, and transportation planning. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Anáhuac del Norte in Mexico City and a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute. Her professional experience spans both private and public sectors, having previously worked at MAC L Architects and Magnusson Architecture and Planning PC in roles ranging from project architect to junior architect. Additionally, she has served as an urban planning intern at Studio Castellano, an urban planning fellow at Manhattan Community Board 3 / Fund for The City of New York, and an urban planning fellow at New York City Environmental Justice Alliance.
During her time at Pratt, Mariana specialized in physical and transportation planning, and she has continued to focus on those areas throughout her career. Her experience includes work on the Department of Transportation's Public Plaza Program and the analysis of community accessibility for older adults and people with mobility disabilities. Currently, Mariana is applying her expertise in the planning, design, and construction of affordable housing projects throughout New York City and its surrounding areas.
