Mariam Hakobyan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Softr, a no-code platform that enables users to build customer portals and internal tools using data from sources like Airtable and Google Sheets. Under her leadership, Softr has grown significantly, amassing over 200,000 users in just two years without any marketing budget, relying instead on word-of-mouth and community engagement.12

Background and Experience

Mariam has a background in engineering and transitioned into entrepreneurship. She began her engineering career in her early twenties and has since led product and engineering teams. Before founding Softr in August 2020, she participated in various programs aimed at enhancing diversity in venture capital, such as Included.VC and Entrepreneur First.13

Softr's mission is to democratize access to technology by allowing users to create web applications without needing coding skills. The platform has been likened to "the Canva of web-apps," emphasizing its user-friendly approach to building digital solutions.14
