Mariah Keagy, Energy Action Programs Manager at VEEP
Mariah Keagy is the Energy Action Programs Manager and Energy Educator for Northern Vermont at the Vermont Energy Education Program (VEEP).12 She joined VEEP in 2014 as a highly qualified teacher with a background in 5-12 science education.2
At VEEP, Mariah manages the Energy Action Project Institute, which provides training and support for educators to implement student-driven energy action projects.5 She is the main organizer of VEEP's annual Youth Climate Leadership Academy (YCLA) retreat.7
Prior to her role at VEEP, Mariah worked as a trail planner and designer at Sinuosity, where she specialized in both trail design and energy education.36 She currently serves on the board of directors for the Green Mountain Club.4
