Maria Zaytseva
Associate Professor and Head of Procurement with extensive experience in supply chain and procurement education
Maria Zaytseva is the Head of Supplementary Study Programs at the Российский Экономический Университет им. Г.В. Плеханова (Plekhanov Russian University of Economics) since September 2022. She is also an Associate Professor and has a Ph.D. in her field.
In addition to her role at Plekhanov University, she serves as a Principal Lecturer at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), where she teaches supply chain topics as part of the Procurement Director academic program. Maria has over ten years of experience in multinational companies and is a qualified CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) tutor and consultant. She has worked as a Regional Head of Procurement at SODEXO, gaining extensive experience in supplier relationship management and procurement strategies.
Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Moscow Polytechnic University and various qualifications in procurement and sustainability studies. Maria is proficient in Russian and English, with elementary skills in Spanish and French.1
