Maria Wild is an experienced Fisheries Observer at Cefas with a diverse background in customer service, research, veterinary care, and wildlife conservation.

Maria has a rich professional history that includes roles such as Customer Retention Advisor at BT, Research Assistant at University of Exeter, and Veterinary Assistant at Kwantu Private Game Reserve.

Furthermore, Maria has demonstrated her passion for wildlife and conservation through various positions like Outreach Assistant at University of Exeter, Volunteer at North Cyprus Marine Turtle Conservation Project, and Animal Keeper at Wildside Furry Exotics.

Her dedication to animal welfare is evident from her involvement as a Volunteer at Wild Futures, Animal Care Assistant at Willows Hedgehog Care, and Volunteer at The Blue Cross. Maria has also contributed to community service as a Youth Representative at Droitwich Spa Council.
