Maria Weaver M.Ed. is an accomplished Subject Matter Expert in Online and Hybrid Teaching, Training, and Meetings with exceptional program management and documentation strategy skills in both global and local settings.

Her expertise lies in designing and facilitating engaging Talent Learning & Development programs for companies and individuals, consistently enhancing individual, team, and company performance.

Maria excels in establishing onboarding and continuing professional development On-the-Job (OTJ) training programs across various platforms such as live, virtual, blended, and e-learning formats.

She specializes in supporting the entire training development and facilitation lifecycle for both in-person and online scenarios, making her a thought leader in learning theory, inclusive instructional design, and facilitation best practices.

Maria's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in European History and French from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Special Education from City University of New York-Hunter College, as well as studies in Product Management and User Experience Design at General Assembly.

Throughout her career, Maria has held key roles such as Education Content Manager, Online Instruction Manager, and Instruction Manager at General Assembly, highlighting her extensive experience in educational content development and online instruction management.

She also served as the Assistant Director of the Office of Partnership Programs at Hunter College, Training Academy Director at NYC Teaching Fellows, and Adjunct Professor specializing in Remote and Hybrid Environments at Hunter College.

Maria's experience extends to serving as the Department Chair and Special Education Teacher at the NYC Department of Education, rounding out her diverse skill set in education, training, and program management.
