Maria Ritola

Maria Ritola is a passionate entrepreneur with a strong focus on creating meaningful impact.

She has extensive management experience in technology, research, and startup environments, notably as a co-founder of Iris.ai and head of energy smart economy at the Nordic think tank Demos Helsinki.

Maria has a diverse educational background, including studies in Global Solutions Program at Singularity University, a Master's degree in Economics from Helsinki School of Economics, exchange studies at ESCP Business School, and Introduction to Modern China at Fudan University.

With a track record of board responsibilities, Maria has served as Vice Chairman of the Board at Sylva Ry, Member of the Board at Vake Oy, and held various positions at Demos Helsinki.

She has also contributed her expertise as an Economist at the Bank of Finland and a Donor Relations Officer at UNICEF.
