Maria Plumtree is a highly experienced attorney with over 20 years of experience representing construction contractors, custom homebuilders, architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors in California and Nevada. She is also a regular guest lecturer for several organizations, including the California Professional Association of Specialty Contractors, San Luis Obispo Builders Exchange, and Building Industry Association. Additionally, Maria is known for her lobbying efforts in Sacramento on various issues affecting the construction community.

Coming from a long line of construction contractors, Maria has an innate understanding of the construction industry, having worked for her family business during her formative years. Upon realizing that she could make a difference in an underrepresented industry, she decided to become an attorney, eventually founding Plumtree & Associates Construction Attorneys.

Maria studied for her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at California Western School of Law and completed her Bachelor's Degree at Occidental College.
