Maria Isabel Lacombe, CFA

Maria Isabel Lacombe is a private equity expert with over 13 years of experience in the investment process. She has worked at Axxon Group since 2007, where she has participated in all investment stages. Before joining Axxon, she worked as an equity research analyst at UBS Investment Bank in Brazil, specializing in healthcare, transportation/logistics, and special situations. Prior to that, she was a planning and budget analyst at Rede Globo and an investment analyst at PETROS - Fundação Petrobras de Seguridade Social.

Maria holds a degree in Production Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and completed an exchange program in Industrial Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. She also completed a Disruptive Strategy course with Clayton Christensen at Harvard Business School Online and an Advanced Boardroom Program for Women at Saint Paul Escola de Negócios.

Maria has served or is currently serving on the board of directors of COI, Mundo Verde, and RHMED. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute.
