Maria Grineva

Maria Grineva is a computer scientist and tech entrepreneur known for her work in programming code analysis and her role in founding Prog.AI. She started her entrepreneurial journey in 2014 by founding Orb Intelligence, a company that specialized in providing firmographic and business identity data for B2B sales&marketing and fintech vendors. After significant success, Orb Intelligence was acquired by Dun & Bradstreet in 2019. Prior to Orb Intelligence, Maria worked at Yandex as a Senior Scientist, leading the team behind the development of the social search product Wonder. Maria's entrepreneurial ventures also include co-founding TweetedTimes, a personalized news service acquired by Yandex, and Teralytics, a Big Data consulting firm for Swiss corporations. Maria holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Russian Academy of Sciences with a specialization in database systems and completed a postdoc at ETH Zurich under the supervision of Dr. Donald Kossmann. Her research work has been published in prestigious academic conferences such as WWW, SIGMOD, and VLDB.
