Mari Nakano
Independent Translation and Localization Professional
Mari Nakano is a prominent figure in the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the Scout Association of Japan. She is one of 12 elected volunteer members of the World Scout Committee, which is the main executive body of the WOSM.34 Nakano has served on the National Board of the Scout Association of Japan for 20 years.2
In her role with WOSM, Nakano has been involved in significant events and initiatives:
- She served as the Chairperson of the 23rd World Scout Jamboree (23WSJ) in 2015.1
