Margo O'Donnell

Margo O'Donnell is a seasoned litigator with a strong background in handling a diverse range of cases including restrictive covenants, business torts, employment disputes, intellectual property issues, and class action defense.

Her litigation experience spans across federal, state, and administrative agency levels, encompassing discrimination claims based on sex, race, national origin, disability, age, wage-and-hour violations, and breach of contract.

Ms. O'Donnell's expertise extends from the inception of legal proceedings to trial and appeal, with a track record of effectively resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and settlement strategies.

In addition to her litigation skills, she also serves as a trusted business advisor to clients, offering proactive guidance to prevent disputes. Her advisory services cover a wide spectrum of employment matters such as terminations, releases, confidentiality agreements, noncompetition clauses, and internal investigations.

She holds a BA, magna cum laude from Yale University and is an alumni of the University of Michigan Law School and Pembroke Hill School.

Professionally, Margo O'Donnell currently holds the role of Partner and Co-Chair of the Labor & Employment Practice Group at Benesch Law, having previously served as a Partner at the same firm, as well as holding Shareholder positions at Vedder Price and Jenkens & Gilchrist. Prior to these roles, she worked as an Attorney at Hedlund, Hanley & John.
