Marcus Harvey

Marcus Harvey, a Portland native and University of Oregon graduate, has built a successful career centered around his passion for his hometown. With a degree in Digital Arts and Business, Marcus founded Creative 35 and Updrift Apparel before turning his focus to his true calling: Portland Gear. Launched in 2014, Portland Gear has become a beloved brand for locals and visitors alike, showcasing pride in the city through quality apparel and accessories. In addition to running Portland Gear, Marcus has also used his skills as a former Nike athlete to create impactful collaborations with local organizations such as the Trail Blazers, Timbers, Thorns, OHSU, and more. Over the years, Marcus and his team have grown from mobile pop-up shops to a brick-and-mortar retail store on 19th and Burnside, as well as a 3,000 sq. ft. office and event space. Through it all, Marcus has stayed true to his vision of building a community around the city and its amazing people, creating a brand that resonates with Portlanders and beyond.
