Marcus Gill

Marcus Gill, an accomplished Senior Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master, has an impressive career of managing and delivering projects in both the public and private sectors. He has worked with some of the largest government departments, smaller tech start-ups, and alongside government ministers and software development industry talents. With five years of experience in agile methodologies, Marcus has a deep understanding of adaptive planning, early delivery, continuous improvement, and the importance of a rapid and flexible response to change. His experience, ranging from Product Owner to Business Analyst, provides him with the ability to understand the challenges and goals of each team member.

Marcus has relocated both geographically and departmentally to gain a wider breadth of experience, underscoring his adaptable approach and ability to understand the complexities of a project within a short period of time. With qualifications in PRINCE2 Practitioner accreditation, Certified ScrumMaster, IT Project Delivery and Management, Agile methodologies, and Business Analysis, Marcus comes with a rich educational background.

Marcus started his career with a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Business Management degree from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He then went on to study A-Level at St Robert of Newminster Catholic Sixth Form and GCSEs at Monkwearmouth Comprehensive School.

With an impressive work history and expertise in Agile management, Marcus has served as a Senior Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master at Wireless Group Ltd, Senior Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master at News UK, Scrum Master & Product Manager at HM Revenue & Customs, and various other roles across the public and private sectors.
