Marcos Vargas is the Founder and Managing Director of the Brazilian Hi-Tech Intelligence Company (BRZ Projects), a competitive strategy consultancy & research firm.

With a diverse professional background, Vargas has experience as a Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent for ERA - Electronic Realty Associates in Lisbon.

His previous roles include serving as an International Trade Specialist for the United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration's U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service (USFCS) in Brazil, where he actively participated in market intelligence missions.

Additionally, Vargas was an Official Representative of the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), collaborating with the Organization of American States (OAS) as part of this non-profit initiative.

Vargas is recognized as an accredited Management Consultant of the Brazilian Service of Support for SMEs (SEBRAE), specializing in Strategies and Policies, and the Knowledge and Competitiveness Unit.

He was awarded a full scholarship from the Government of the Republic of China and was highly recommended by the OAS for his studies, obtaining a Diploma in International Trade Promotion from the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) in Taiwan.

His educational background includes an MBA in Project Management from FGV´s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration, as well as a BBA from Catholic University (PUC-Rio). Vargas also pursued further studies with a Pre-MBA program at San Diego State University and obtained a Certificate in Meeting and Event Planning.
