Marco Trombetti is an Italian entrepreneur with a strong background in technology, innovation, and business. He started his career at a young age, delivering technology and algorithms to the Fidonet BBS community. During his studies in Physics, Marco continued developing technical solutions for the digital mapping market and image manipulation, among others. In 1999, he created Translated, one of the first internet-based translation services, providing localization services to leading global companies. In parallel, he founded other successful e-businesses, such as WebChatWorld, which was later acquired by Google. More recently, Marco has pursued research in machine learning models for integrating machine translation in a human translation workflow. Today, besides being responsible for the overall administration of Translated, he also serves as the co-founder CEO of Pi Campus.
