Marco Secone

Marco Secone is an experienced IT Manager, Demand Manager, Project Manager, Software Architect, and Methodology Strategist with a great passion for technology and software development. Based in Italy, he has worked with both public and private organizations, managing and leading large teams of developers and contributing significantly to the growth of the companies he worked with.

Marco Secone has a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Aquila, Italy, and a background in Liceo Scientifico M.Curie in Giulianova, Italy. He started his career as a Stagista at the Scuola Superiore Guglielmo Reiss Romoli, where he conducted research in the development of his degree thesis.

He has worked for Engineering Ingegneria Informatica SPA, IZSAM, Selematica s.r.l., Sistemi Elettronici s.r.l., and Uniservices srl – Gruppo Unifarma, holding positions as IT project manager, IT Solution Architect, Software Architect, and Methodology Strategist. At Engineering Ingegneria Informatica SPA, Marco Secone contributed significantly to the development and growth of the Mosciano S. Angelo office, expanding from 20 to over 140 resources in 11 years.

He also worked for the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell'Abruzzo e del Molise, where he was responsible for IT management, Demand Management, Project Management, Program Management, and Solutions Architecture. As Chief Technology Officer at Gunpowder, his current focus is on digital transformation and the integration of emerging technologies in day-to-day business processes.

With a passion for continuous growth, Marco Secone completed the "Percorso 2014 - Comunità dei Futuri IT Leader" program by AICA, AICA CIO Forum, and Fondazione Politecnico di Milano. He was a former Docente Esterno nei Corsi di Formazione Professionalizzante at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria, Scienze dell’informazione e Matematica (DISIM), UNIVAQ.
