Marco Pera is a seasoned professional with a strong engineering background and over two decades of experience in the technology industry. After completing his MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine and his BEng in Mechanical Engineering at University College London, Pera began his professional career as a consultant at Andersen Business Consulting. From there, he has worked at firms including News International and Deloitte, transitioning to leadership roles as the Director of Technology Transformation at News International and the Senior Director of European Corporate Solutions at Alvarez & Marsal.

Pera has also held key leadership positions in the financial services industry, most notably at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management where he served as Data CIO & Shared Data Services and Global Head of Platform Management - Global Digital. Additionally, he has provided technology advisory services to the Telegraph Media Group. Pera is known for his ability to bring a customer-focused approach to data and technology solutions and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
