Marco Breu

Marco Breu is an accomplished Entrepreneur and Investor with a diverse portfolio spanning Fintech, e-Commerce, Healthcare, Data / Analytics, and Deep tech startups in Asia and Europe.

With a significant 25-year tenure at McKinsey & Company, he has vast experience across Europe, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Marco was instrumental in establishing and leading the office in Vietnam and later served as Managing Partner for 12 years.

Marco Breu is the founder of Alchemy Investments Acquisition Corp. 1 (ALCY), a NASDAQ-listed SPAC. He currently advises McKinsey on Public Sector and SOE initiatives in Vietnam.

In academia, Marco taught as a Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at the Royal Thimphu College in Bhutan. He is deeply committed to fostering local talent and supporting the startup ecosystem, as evidenced by co-founding the Mekong Business Challenge, a program promoting youth entrepreneurship across six countries.

Marco Breu holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Bern and has studied Economics, Business Administration, and Information Systems at the University of Strathclyde.
