Marcio Lopes is a seasoned environmental and sustainability professional with over two decades of experience in managing sustainability, government and community relations, environment, risk management, supply chain, licensing, and pollution prevention. He has worked in renowned organizations such as Ramboll, Bradesco, and ContourGlobal, where he served as Social and Environmental Project Manager, Executive Manager - Analysis and control in Social & Environmental Risks, and Latin America - Social, Environmental & Sustainability Director, respectively. Marcio has also collaborated with the government in various capacities, including serving as Technical Director at Secretariat for the Environment of the State of São Paulo, Specialist Senior at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Environmental Analyst and Environmental Technical Director at CETESB - Companhia Ambiental do Estado de São Paulo. He has a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
