Marcelo Siqueira is a highly respected post-production specialist and visual effects producer & supervisor from São Paulo. He began his career as a film editor for the group Casablanca, eventually managing the post-production and art direction departments at Teleimage. As a pioneer in the use of high definition digital technology and digital image restoration, Marcelo was invited to join the ABC and VES associations in recognition of his advancements in the field. With over 300 credits in feature films, shorts, concerts, and series, Marcelo is considered one of Brazil's most experienced professionals. In 2011, he left Casablanca to establish his own company, Mistika Post, where he has managed many projects for companies such as Endemol, Fox, and Discovery, including the first VR line broadcast for Fox and an ambitious 80-episode macro series for Record TV with a large number of VFX. Marcelo's innovative and influential work has earned him three awards for Best Visual Effects and 16 nominations thus far.
