Marcel Kempers

Marcel Kempers, born in Singapore on October 31st, 1996, is a Dutch-Singaporean entrepreneur and a co-founder of impactful startups like Pyropower and Reef Support.

Alongside being a co-founder, Marcel is also known for establishing the community-driven platform Social Innovation Europe and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Management of Technology at TU Delft, expected to graduate in 2022.

His passion lies in collaborating with talented teams to create opportunities and drive global impact in the areas of people, planet, and profit.

Marcel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, as well as various studies like Environmental Science at Tsinghua University and Innovation in sustainability and Space exploration at Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Moreover, he holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma with specialization in Visual Arts from the School of the Arts Singapore.

In terms of his professional experience, Marcel has served in key roles such as Chief Executive Officer at Pyropower, Co-Founder at Social Innovation Europe, CEO at Reef Support, and Design Engineer at Silverwing Aeronautics.

Additionally, he has taken on positions ranging from Trip Leader at Wanderlust Student Trips to Military Service at the Singapore Armed Forces and roles like Carpenter Assistant at Lian Huat Furniture Rental and Performer at Universal Studios Hollywood.
