    Marc has a strong background in developing concepts with clients and implementing technical solutions. His professional interests lie in habitat analysis, connectivity assessments using field data, and related models such as water quality, hydrology, and hydrodynamics.

    His technical skills encompass ecological models, water quality models, Lagrangian particle tracking models, GIS, programming/scripting (R, Python, FORTRAN90), catchment models, hydrodynamic models, databases, data visualization, statistics, and optimization.

    Education-wise, Marc holds a Master's degree in Forest and Nature Conservation with a specialization in Ecology from Wageningen University and a Bachelor's degree in Water Management with a focus on Ecology from Hogeschool Zeeland.

    Currently, Marc serves as an Advisor in Ecology & Water Quality at Deltares. Previously, he worked as an Expert in Water Quality & Catchment Modeling at DairyNZ, a Junior Consultant in Ecology at Gemeente Den Haag, a Researcher in Habitat Selection at Wageningen UR, a Junior Consultant in Water Management at Grontmij, and a Researcher in Speciation at Alfred Wegener Institute of Polar and Marine Research (AWI).
