Marc Underwood

Marc Underwood is a Photovoltaic technical expert with a strong track record in designing complex projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously. He has over 15 years of experience in design and engineering within the environmental and renewable energy industries.

Mr. Underwood possesses a diverse skillset including expertise in AutoCAD, NEC, IBC, and Project Management. He has completed coursework in Project Management at UC Berkeley to enhance his skills further.

His experience spans all project stages, from site surveying to material selection, electrical design engineering, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and project resource management.

In addition to his technical proficiency, Marc has demonstrated expertise in automation, developing features in AutoCAD, using Macros, and programming in LISP and VBA languages. He has written specialized programs for solar projects to streamline design processes.

Education-wise, Marc holds a Project Management certification with a 4.0 GPA from UC Berkeley Extension and an A.S. in Environmental Horticulture from Sierra College.

His professional journey includes roles such as Project Manager at Bureau Veritas, Engineering and Permitting Manager at SunPower Corporation, Project Engineer at Conergy AG, and various design positions in leading solar companies.
