Marc Carrel is a skilled non-profit executive with extensive experience in community relations, public speaking, and fundraising. He is currently the President and CEO of the Emphysema Foundation of America, where he has been serving since December 2017. In this role, he focuses on various initiatives including youth education, patient support, advocacy, research, stakeholder engagement, community education, and volunteer projects aimed at improving air quality and lung health.1
In addition to his work with the Emphysema Foundation of America, Marc Carrel has held several other significant roles. He serves as a Commissioner (Attorney Member) on the County of Los Angeles - Building Board of Appeals since October 2015. He was also previously involved with the South Coast Air Quality Management District as a Legislative and Public Affairs Supervisor/Government Relations Representative from June 2008 to December 2017.1
