Marc Adam

Marc Adam is an accomplished media and marketing professional who has amassed over 25 years of expertise in managing audience growth, user engagement, and generating revenue through sales, subscription, and advertising. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles in leading telecommunication, media, and technology enterprises, including Microsoft and Sky Deutschland. With responsibility for local and global strategy execution across more than 30 countries, Adam has managed business development, marketing, PR, and engineering teams with annual marketing budgets exceeding $150M. Moreover, he has a record of entrepreneurial innovations in the digital world and is well-versed in big data user analysis and competitive insights.

Adam has recently joined Hg Capital, Europe's largest software investor, as a full-time Operating Partner. Previously, he served as a Senior Advisor to leading private equity firms such as ARDIAN, HG Capital, or Harald Quandt Industie Holding. He also holds Kommanditist positions in several organizations, including WatchMe24 GmbH, webvalid GmbH, VIPrize GmbH, ValueZon GmbH, and Pay & Relax GmbH. Additionally, as a former Principal Owner of Equi5 GmbH, Adam served as a Shareholder and Senior Advisor.

In his former roles, Adam has held various executive-level positions, including Interim Chief Digital Officer at SLV GmbH, Executive Producer of MSN at Microsoft Corporation, Executive Director and Founder of VIVA Plus at MTV UK, Northern, and Eastern Europe, and Managing Director at MTV UK, Northern, and Eastern Europe.
