Marat Kotik

Marat Kotik is a versatile professional with a background in Civil Engineering and a focus on full stack software development encompassing React, Node JS, and Python.

Marat completed his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at Rutgers University and further honed his skills by studying Full Stack Web Development at BloomTech.

With a passion for new technology and a penchant for creating practical solutions, Marat currently serves as a Software Engineer at MJ Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C.

Previously, Marat held various roles at Weeks Marine, Inc. including Field Engineer for different projects like Golden Ray Ship Salvage, National Grid Pumphouse Station, Poughkeepsie Environmental Dredging, Pier 40 Structural Restoration, and as a Yard Engineer and Design Engineer.

Marat also gained experience as an Estimator - Intern at HC Constructors Inc, Engineering Technician at Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA), Lab Technician at Rutgers Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Technology, and even worked as a Server at Somerset Diner.

Furthermore, Marat held leadership roles as the President / Chief Engineer at Sigma Phi Delta Fraternity showcasing his diverse skill set and commitment to both engineering and software development.
