Marah Lidey is a distinguished product leader known for her expertise in creating inclusive platforms that prioritize making individuals feel acknowledged, heard, and adequately represented in their virtual interactions. As the co-founder of Shine, a prominent mental health app recognized as the Best App for People of Color by the American Psychological Association (APA) and honored with the Best of the Year award by Apple in 2020 and 2018, Marah has solidified her reputation as a forward-thinker in the realm of inclusive technology.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Representation in Digital Media from The University of Georgia, Marah Lidey has acquired a strong educational foundation to complement her practical experience in the tech industry.

Her professional journey includes significant roles such as Head of Inclusive Product at Pinterest, Technical Advisory Board Member focusing on Inclusivity and Representation at The National Institutes of Health, Senior Director of Product Management at Headspace, and Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Shine Inc., which was ultimately acquired by Headspace.

Currently serving as the leader of the core engagement team at Headspace, Marah is dedicated to enhancing product inclusivity and impact. Her primary focus lies in leveraging AI/ML technologies to offer tailored recommendations that resonate with diverse members, connecting them with the most fitting content and experts based on their unique experiences.
